He graduated in Law from the University of Ferrara in 2015, with a thesis in Criminal Law supervised by Prof. Alessandro Bernardi and co-supervised by Prof. Ciro Grandi, following a course of study focused on this subject and European Criminal Law. He completed his legal traineeship in Venice under Attorney Gianpaolo Bevilacqua, initially collaborating primarily in Criminal Law, but also in Civil Law. After obtaining his license to practice, he was admitted to the Venice Bar Association in 2020.

Specialized Practice Areas

Criminal Law has always been his area of expertise, in which he has gained substantial experience through continuous practice and ongoing professional training. He has developed specific competence in substantive Criminal Law—particularly serious criminal offenses (crimes against persons and property), immigration-related offenses, and traffic offenses—as well as procedural Criminal Law, focusing on juvenile cases, criminal enforcement, and the cross-examination procedure. In addition to Criminal Law, he also practices Immigration Law and International Protection. He has also addressed issues in compensation for damages and Insurance Law. He regularly attends specialized courses in Criminal Law, including the “Technical and Ethical Training Course for Criminal Lawyers ‘Emanuele Battain’,” the “Training Course for Defense Counsel in Juvenile Criminal Proceedings ‘Marco Giacomini’,” and numerous editions of the “Marcoleone Bondi Training Course: Criminal Defense and Enforcement – A Prospective View.” He frequently participates in conferences on current Criminal Law issues and has been invited to speak as a lecturer by the Venice Criminal Lawyers’ Association. In 2019, he was awarded second place in the “Lora Biga Prize” competition with a case note entitled “Combating Gender-Based Violence in Culturally Oriented Crimes.” In 2022, he was elected as a Councilor of the Venice Bar Association, one of the youngest in Italy, with responsibilities including the trainee register, human rights, and digitalization. He also sits on the Equal Opportunities Committee as a delegate. He represents the Bar Association at the Coordination Table of Prison Institutions, collaborating with the Guarantor for the Rights of Persons Deprived of Liberty of the Municipality of Venice. At the national level, he was appointed by the Bar to participate in Working Groups on “Specializations, Access to the Profession, Career Guidance, Training,” “Artificial Intelligence and E-Filing,” and “Criminal Law and the Prison System,” contributing proposals for the legal profession within the “LAB@vvocatura Giovane” project. From the very first day of his legal traineeship, he has been a member of the Venice Criminal Lawyers’ Association, participating in various association activities. He is a member of the Prison Committee and the Committee for the Promotion of Young Lawyers, assisting in organizing numerous events such as the “Pillole di…” lecture series, and contributing to the creation of protocols and guidelines with the Judiciary. He has also served as a Venice delegate to the Congress of the Union of Italian Criminal Lawyers’ Associations. Since 2022, he has been a member of C.A.I.T. – Chamber of Immigration Lawyers of the Triveneto, which later became C.A.D.U.S. – Chamber of Lawyers for Human and Foreigners’ Rights.
