Ilaria Penzo, Law Graduate
She graduated in Law in 2020 from the University of Bologna, with a research thesis in European Union Law on migratory flows from West Africa, published in the scientific journal Studi sulla Questione Criminale (No. 83/2021, Carocci Editore). From 2020 to 2021, she served as a teaching assistant for the Criminology course at the Faculty of Law, University of Bologna, under the supervision of Prof. Dario Melossi. In 2021, she successfully completed an inter-university master’s degree in Critical Criminology for Social Security (University of Padua and University of Bologna) with a research thesis on Nigerian cults.
She has been registered as a trainee lawyer with the Venice Bar Association since December 2023 and obtained full authorization to practice law in July 2024.
